Doppio Espresso Con Panna

One of my favorite drinks whenever I go to Starbucks. Somehow it always reminds me of the way some things are in life. With the whipped cream on top and bitter coffee below, you’d taste the sweetness in the beginning, but it’ll only last for a short while. Once you finished with the cream you’ll start to taste the bitter coffee.
It’s not very different in that way with the way some relationships are. In the beginning, when things are smooth and feelings and excitement are there, it’s very sweet and beautiful. But somehow, the sweetness doesn’t last very long and the bitterness starts to mingle with the sweetness until eventually there’s no sweetness at all left. Well of course not all relationships are or will be the same, and I do wish I will finally have one that doesn’t taste like my Doppio Espresso Con Panna. But till then, I’ll still continue to enjoy my cup of espresso. Yes, I do enjoy the bitterness too!
